Hi All,
None of us wish to re-invent the wheel, so I will ask any of my fellow Canadians out there for thoughts or ideas. I am looking for opportunities to teach ESL Science (Health Science). I have two science degrees, one in physiotherapy. I do not yet have a country picked out---hence "Newbie". Thoughts are welcome. |

Salut Guy et merci pour l'information,
I hope that you are still with me---being a Canuck and all, I thought I would blind you with my bilingualism, ar, ar.
Thanks. I never thought of your neck of the woods. By the way, so much for the NHL (eh?). I don't really care. Again, just a Canadian-thing.
So, this Guatamalan notion. My Spanish is none existent. Might be a problem. Let me know (please)? |

I am here and my French is too terrible to foist on you
Do not start me off on the NHL.
I'm from Ottawa BTW.
A certain level of Spanish would be needed for living and working in Mexico (not Guatemala). I think much medical university work is done in English, and in an English department, you wouldn't need Spanish. I'm guestimating here...this is your field not mine.
Perhaps try posting something like this in one of the Asian country forums...there would be better money in a similar job in Japan or Korea I would guess. |

So sorry to blunder re: Guadalajara (oops).
I won't say anything about the Senators--I don't wish to curse my Leafs come next season.
Anyway, I have opened up the website of Teachers Latin America. How did you become involved? I ask this truly scared of this idea--Not that scared that I don't ask, but still, I am 43 and looking at some big things.
Ottawa?? Huh. And no French! Mon Dieu! You mentioned medical schools. Interesting. I will send you an email.
Thanks! |

If your initials are JM, then the email worked...I just haven't responded yet!
If not... [email protected] works every time
My French is rusty from lack of use. That, and Spanish being so similar, when I try to speak French from running start, some strange form of FrenchSpanish beast appears.
Je ne se pas por que esta asi, mais j'ai olvidado toute, la. hahahaha |
