Hello,
I'm considering teaching at Chongqing Education College in March. Does anyone know about this school?
Or know of any openings in public university for this coming spring? I've got unrelated Master's degrees and 8 years teaching experience, going on 2 years in China.
My current school -- Beijing Institute of Technology in Zhuhai -- just paid us 1/3 of our monthly salary, having waited to pay us until everyone was on holiday. I also heard that the Chinese teachers haven't been paid in 2 months. NOT a good sign! The school is one of the private/public branches of universities and it's brand new.
So I'm bailing. Too bad, because I like the kids and the administration -- until now -- has been supportive and (relatively) reliable.
