I take it that Molly does not know who you are.
I am in two minds about that. Firstly it is possible that she does know who I am but is keeping quiet, ''keep your friends close and your enemies closer.'' (I don`t know the reference, don`t accuse me of plagiarism) Or because of the sheer number of teachers it is impossible to work out.
So if ekmekparasi has left, who was s/he?
I don`t know. Ask Molly.

Why don't I write who I work for? Well, things change and you never know when you may need a job. I had a friend who worked for ET part-time. The deal was he went in did his lessons - not in the school but in-house, had no hassle from admin. and picked up a good wage. Maybe one day I might need to do the same. Will not shoot myself in the foot.
Fair enough

I know this should be on the things that make you go...thread but perhaps I could get away with this topic change

Have you ever had this experience. Me and a pal were in Cicek Pasaji a bit early in the evening and we were in one of those, no it was in Mercan, you know the place that serves beer and seafood stuff. Anyway we were downing the beers when it got to closing time. Seemed like just an hour or so and I was feeling sober despite the beers. Dangerous feeling I know when you has had your fill but you still feel sober. The head waiter type says something to my pal who speaks the lingo'' you will be drunk.'' Hysterical because that is why we are there. He moves us into 1 of the indoor places and we carry on. My question:

Don`t you think it strange. They work in a bar like 70 hours a week yet they counsel you on getting drunk? Par for the course no? Imagine that in UK'.

Had some raki without the water and never again. I felt like hell for 2 days. Stupid I know but I ordinarily wouldn`t drink spirits but being a bit out there I had some raki. It is evil stuff. That taste you can`t get rid off. I realise it is an inquired taste but still. What about in Kadikoy in the coast street where when you come out of the bars and there is a bloke with a 3 wheeled pushcart who sells sandwiches. It is great. He has bread and loads of fllings like eggs, cheese, beef and pickles and you can choose your own sani. The chicken and rice man? Also if all else fails there are bufes on the seaside that are open 24/7 and sell beer. Kadikoy is great.
Have you been to the train station?

Are you referring to posts like this, 31?

Or maybe the ones aimed at dmb?
Or what about that particularly vicious one directed at Scarred2?
Or more recently at Molly?
Sound advice. I suggest we all take it.

I never knew that was the origin of the 'keep enemies close' phrase.

Raki is a miracle cure for toothache.

1 Take a mouthful of the stuff.
2 Swill it around in your mouth with the aching tooth for about five minutes.
3 Spit and rinse.

Your whole mouth will be so numb that you won't be troubled by the toothache.
