No they are not.
I know a lot of Korean girls and most of them don't use make-up at all, and if they do, it is much more subtle. Not like some of Polish blondes, whose faces shine like the sun form all the make-up, fake tan and who knows what else.

parhaps it was childish, but it was a reply to another post, which was insulting instead. |

| Pal, I used to live in Korea and those girls are spatula city. It sounds as if you have a slight dislike of Polish Women. I'm not sure where you are writing about, but where I was it was truely not the case. Then again, it is a good sized country and one's opinion of the ladies is a matter of personal taste. |

Yeah, I am really glad I came here. I wouldn't change it for the world. I had originally thought that one year would be enough but I am glad that I stayed a second year as I think it takes a year just to be a decent English teacher.
I must say after living in Cracow I've become very spoiled with bars staying open all night. When I go anywhere else and they start to shut down I somehow feel like I've been cheated.
That's not to say that Poland is just about bars. It's becoming more and more Westernized (despite what some expatriots would have you believe). But at the same time it is still a traditional country and it is sure to capture anyone's imagination.
I'm glad that I started my ESL career here as a teacher here has to be able to do it all. You have to make a class fun, be able to explain the grammar clearly and prepare your students for the Cambridge exams (which I hear maybe replaced by EU exams).
But for me I do think that two years is enough. I like it here but just as Poles are going abroad so that they can get paid more for the same work they do here I am planning on going to Asia to teach for a year before heading home.
And no it isn't just about money, I've always wanted to go to Asia. But at the end of the day wherever you are it's the same thing but with different architecture.
But at least I'll always have wonderful memories and hopefully I be able to hang onto my Polish girlfriend.
Wish me luck.
