Hi, I'm thinking about applying for a TEFL course in Playa del Carmen and Id really appreciate hearing from anyone currently studying or working in Mexico.
Everything Ive read so far has been really positive. Have you heard the phrase "Sounds too good to be true"? I'm keen to know about the good and the bad points and whether you have the time and the money to enjoy yourself while you teach in Mexico.
Is it difficult for newly qualified teachers to find enjoyable work in Mexico?
What sort of teaching positions have past students found. Locations, hours, accommodation etc. and do you have to work in the cities to survive?
Which places offer the best job opportunities and which places should be avoided?
Phew!
Any feedback would be appreciated. |

I think you've included too many general questions in one posting, which may be the reason nobody has responded. You might try more specific questions related to one topic or location per posting. Just a thought. |
