Mr. Kalgukshi has spoken, and so it shall be. This debate was started on another thread but could be deemed to be 'off topic'. Therefore, any comments you have about shopping experiences in this or any other supermarket can be added here.

I ticked "good" because there's one at the end of my street. To go to Tansas is a 15 minute walk; Migros, Kipa et al a bus ride away.

The wine's not bad. I recommend the Gamay.

How about dia? "en ucuz" degil... Unfortunately, where I live, there is ONLY Dia and then the bakkals. I wish we had Sok, better would be Gima.

It can be a real adventure shopping for anything in Istanbul. Sometimes I miss the one-stop shopping of North America, but once I learn where to find things (extension cords, lamps, used furniture, etc), I kind of enjoy the bargaining with the shopkeepers. Can't do that in Sok or Dia.
