Have counted four threads removed so far. My last thread about who was watching and why has also been removed I asked Mr K why and he said that there was some unacceptable personal comments. Thus this new topic. Is this Forum just for teaching, or should it be used to discuss general views. What areas should be left out. Is it fair to say that xxx school is no good and is it right for xxx school to respond. I ask everyone not to have a go at each other. Lets see if we can be a little self critical and stay on line. |

I noticed a topic missing after being notified that a post was made to my comment in said topic. It was titled 'what makes a good teacher'... I said I believe that the first and foremost important aspect of a good teacher is the ability to speak the language properly. I don't know what followed that comment, but wonder if I stepped on anyone's toes in so saying what I believe to be a true and honest statement. I did not, at any point, name names or indicate the offending person by school, city, or in any other way make personal references.
But, I have seen viscious attacks in these posts and they are left standing. |

Where this occurs, please bring it to my attention by pm. It will be addressed most promptly.
I second what calsimsek wrote:
