I love English though. Literature is just bloody great. I know my stuff, I just don't like to study. When I was into studying, I'd get straight A's, but it's just not that much fun.

Well all those A's dont mean anything when you cant even get a job here.
Wasted talent basically. Either you want to work here or you don't.
On working holiday visa you can work here part time or full time one year and thats it. Part time income is about 180,000 yen a month. Maybe more with privates.
Average pay for a full time entry level conversation teacher with a BA is 250,000 yen a month and it doesnt matter how many A's you have.
JET teachers make 300,000 yen a month or 3.6 million yen a year. |
