Thank You TED!! My hat is off to you. I'm glad you had some great experiences with Canadian women and I will take that as a compliment.
Did you say you were in China? Wink

Thanks, CS.
If you actually can think of a paper that would publish that stinker let me know. I strongly suspect whatever humor it may have gets pretty diluted if you haven't lived and loved (and of course libated) with foreign teachers in China. And I'm afraid that if Dr. K doesn't like my moustache or pony tail he has nothing I want anyway. Very Happy
Anyway, I thought your response was funnier than the original piece...

What a shame that ANY thread has to disintegrate into what this one did. Why can't we all just sit down over some Maple Daiquiris and admit to being equally *beep*ed, each in our own special ways, and save our juice for the REAL enemies: chain English mills and Chinese middle-school students. Wink

Jojo,
no problem. We've all been there. Very Happy

Maple Daiquiris are a figment of my imagination, but as the holder of China's largest stash of President's Choice maple syrup I'm willing to experiment in the interest of international friendship. Wink

Hey Miss J! We all have our moments and the coals are always smouldering in the corner of some thread or another. No apology required, especially not to me. Now I reckon we should experiment with banana and maple daquiri flavoured crepes. Very Happy MT's bringing the beer, I've got the chair thing happening, gerards bringing a table to drink himself under, and you're on chopstick duty. Hao ma? Wink

Well, I can't let my ole pal Senor take all the flack by his little skinny self. The original post was really terrific! I hope if I give the author credit, I can share it with some friends. When I get back to sweaty HZ in July, I'll join the drinking party just to see if Jojo is a hot as she says she is!
See you in July Glenn

Is there a copyright on this because I want to e-mail it to all my friends.
Absolutely spot on. I particulary liked the bit about the stained clothing, my friend has moved from light clothing to dark.
Thankyou Carol

I had a sneaking feeling about you. You're Jojo Zepandthefalcons, aren't you?

Okay, what songs J? Once you've been here for more than a year all you can rmember is 'row, row, row your boat' and the 'ABC' song.

Well, my furry little fiend. Wrong again and as usual. The question was 'what does an English teacher look like?' and not 'what does a total goose look like'. Had the 'total goose' question been engaged we would have all nailed it in one. Very Happy

Now where's that Predator girl when you need her? Wink
