Warning: This is a post specific to Australians 18 to 35 (OK 36) who want listen to real music not commercial radio shite.

I know you can listen to Triple J online but I would like to know what kind of Internet package you need and what the quality was like?

I am a 31 yr old American and I listen to Tripple J! It's the best station in the world. Much better than anything you can find on the radio in the states- can't compete.
I get it here on Windows Media Player I think.

too easy, hook up any kind of Broadband connection whether cable, DSL or hikari (fibre), make sure you own a pc (ok, a joke), go to ABC online, click on the listen icon and listen to your heart's content. Also relevant for Radio National (my preferred choice).

Realplayer and Windows Media Player work equally fine for streaming the audio data.

Also, you can do the same at internet cafes as they usually have headphones.

mate, I know this is an old post, but if you like the J's, try out some of the shows on bbc.co.uk , especially radio 1, 1xtra, 3, and 6. some awesome stuff for any mood you might be in.

I stopped listening to Triple J at about the same time I stopped smoking weed and drinking myself into a coma on a Friday and Saturday night.
I think the station has gone to the dogs. They plenty of the new stuff but forget about the older songs.
Now I'm happy with the ABC
