Been here since end of Jan, loads of schools have verbally offered me work but as yet none has materialised due to the post-Tet lull. I need to start working ASAP, any idea when things will get busy? |

Are you in Hanoi or HCMC? Here in Hanoi I've had a steady flow of offers since the beginning of last week. Make sure you follow up all your visits to schools with phone calls (or even visit them again).
Good luck! |

Oh, that was cruel, Snaff
On a more serious note: classes generally start to drop off in mid to late December. After Tet, schools for obvious reasons give the first available classes to the regular teachers who might be low on hours. However, you can expect your schedule to fill between now and mid March. I'd be surprised if you didn't have a full schedule by the end of March. |
