How is it here?
I was in China for about two weeks and had enough of the xenophobia, fear and backwardness of the people. They would stare and comment on everything from cloths to what type of aftershave I wore. Spitting and peeing and farting everywhere. Not too pleasant a place.
I'm in Korea for two weeks and it feel like heaven comparitively. People are generally friendly. Children say hi and start conversations with a smile (not in China, they are too afraid). Clean streets and prostitution is not knocking on my hotel door every night. Efficient and friendly staff at all stores.
What about Japan? Will I find cringing xenophobia like China, or friendly (enough) masses in the cities?
Just curious. Going to Fukuoka and Osaka next week. |
