I live in Miyakonojo for a year! Not much there. I used to go to Kagoshima to have fun. It has been two years since I lived there. I remember the only kind of bars were snack bars. There snack bar on just about every street in the main section. The best hotel is called, The Main Hotel, and it is pretty cheap. |

hope it's not at universe academy...i almost took a job there and luckily found out the owner was a total jerk. i won't even go into the words he called me when i turned down his job offer (he'd told my current boss that "the most important thing is that our teachers are pretty and a little "baka" (stupid)"...needless to say when i investigated it, it seems quite a lot of teachers leave that school early.
miyakonojo isn't in a pretty spot, from what i have heard, though the coast of miyazaki is legendary.
curious to hear if this was a one-time bad experience or has been repeated among others... |

I hope you didn't get a job with Universe Acd.!!!!!
Miyakonojo in a nut shell. The only bars there are snack! However there are so good Ezakayas. The best thing to do for a fun weekend is take the two hour train ride to Kagoshima. If you have any specific questions let me know.
Good luck to you! |
