The school was professional, friendly, and honest... They were small and didn't have lots of students, classes were small.. but the atmosphere perfect.

Moonraven, I'm with ya, but I say we just ignore him. The sad reality is that we're feeding his immature fantasy by responding.

although i will defend anyones right to an opinion i must say that this constant attack of particular people is frustrating (even if it is slightly amusing at times). I'm a newbie and in almost every thread of the Latin America forum where i'm trying to gain useful information (the purpose of this forum i thought...) i have to wade through an immense amount of insults directed at moonraven or guy whether they have posted or not. I am not looking to argue with you or anyone else, but you're ruining a very good source of information by saturating it with insults to the extent of harassment.

Jacqui...

You are right, and I apologise. We often treat this place as our own playground. Some of the arguments you see here are long running and probably seem strange to drop into the middle of them.

thanks guy, i appreciate the apology even if perhaps it isn't you that needs to make it....my only problem is the posts that are incredibly rude and full of bigotry. just thought i would throw my two cents in on how this effects people who are coming to this site to look for information and instead are reading posts attacking canada (being canadian myself) or particular people. a little banter is entertaining, in fact there has been times where i've laughed out loud on this site. its when people cross the line and it becomes harassment that it ceases to be entertaining.

Very well stated. I couldn't agree more.

I don't appreciate people preaching to others, and not allowing others to have an opinion of their own. The ability to listen and respecting a difference in opinion is important.

jacqui,

Unlike Guy I do not feel even slightly inclined to apologize for the sandbox aspect of this forum, as I only post legitimate information which I believe might be helpful to other folks and am not responsible for the bad behavior of others.

The insults and the racism directed towards me are not my problem--they are the problem of the several undereducated, low self-esteem ne'er do wells who frequent this forum and who have no information that could be considered even remotely useful to any of us.

You certainly do not please me.

You have not stayed on the topic since you barged into this forum. So far as I know insults and threateneing PMs are not threads here.
