hmmm summer plans.... mine will start out with having a baby and hoping that my mother can stay long enough to fight off all the relatives who want to make sure I stay nice and healthy by A) wearing slippers so that I don't get a stomach ache B) by not having a cross breeze from to many windows being open at the same time, and C) by getting rid of the cats.

I love my hubbies family. I just wish they would stop with advice I am NEVER going to take because A) I can't stand to wear slippers when I'm warm forget when I'm hot! Besides, I like the feel of a cool floor on my hot feet. If the floor is clean, whats the problem?
B) if I'm warm, I want to feel a breeze and a night time breeze is just fine with me
and C) the cats stay!!! Actually, I haven't heard anything about the cats since I gave the veterinary lecture about how there are only 4 possible problems with having a cat and its communicable diseases. Certain death due to hair entering the heart, lungs, or brain was not one of the 4!!

I think I'll have a very busy summer!! Very Happy

No, it's not just you, it's justme now too. Yesterday I had an avatar, but today I have an advertisement for avatars. At least that's what I see. Maybe it's just me. And here I was feeling like less of a Luddite for making an avatar. It appears to be yet anotherthing beyond my grasp, but I'll try again later when I have work I'm supposed to be doing...

whynotme, don't ask for my help, you can see what happens. This is why I don't drive.

Boğazicibaby, how long have you been married? Does this mean they never let up about the sandal thing? My mother-in-law keeps giving me sandals in hopes that I'll get over this bizarre foreign habit of, as she puts it, stepping on the floor. They're bursting out of the closet. The other day, she gave us 2 more pairs, one for the bathroom and one for the balcony. I think I'll have to take a load of them to the kapıcı soon, they appear to be breeding!

avatars: not fun to do at first but easy when you have the hang of it - do a search on dave's it's been discussed a bunch...

summer - was thinking about doing a camp for a friend in bordeau? that idea passed quickly... but hmm.... have 6 weeks off. going home for two weeks and leaving the country for a month, probably to go somewhere really cheap and so hot that i can leave my beach chair only to go to the water...yeah!

or maybe a sailing trip in the med....hmmm lots of ideas here...

Maybe this one worked. I see Zoot. Not the same nice blue guy I tried to put yesterday, but another nice blue guy. He forgets his own name so we're a lot alike...

Plans for summer? It's Friday night and I don't even know what I'm doing this weekend. Apart from the rugby on Sunday.

Two days ahead... steady on DMB. It is pretty hard to make plans at the moment, what with it being beautiful and sunny one day, then snowing the next.

I'm staying here for the summer. My key project is to teach myself to understand dmb in a crowded noisy bar after a bottle of Gzel Marmara.
