If you haven't seen this one yet...by all means GO! Such a story has NEVER been executed so masterfully...I may not agree with Mel's religiosity, but I can't help but sense the emotion of his faith. This one's bound to make millions more...

I really didn't feel the need to see it before this time, but, pure visual power is hard to refuse...eventually, most will succumb...

Christ was (IS) a 'man with a mission' - so clearly reflected in this moving cinematic showcase...

GO...you won't be disappointed...

Twisted Evil You might even find me there...ha, ha, ha...

An interesting movie indeed... interesting to see Mel Gibson's take on the politics of occupation through eyes of Pilate and the Jewish church leaders. There was a lot of outcry on how Gibson made it appear that the Jews were to blame for Jesus' sentencing to the cross.

Whatever you think of Guy's face, and I don't think that it is that bad, LOL, surely you must admit that the movie AND the story of Christ can be seen from different viewpoints, and if you listen to other people's views they are much more likely to listen to yours.

Definitely not everyone, but many, which would make you MUCH better at witnessing, which I hope is what you are trying to do.

That said, I haven't seen the Passion, too busy downloading Kung Fu movies.

I agree that the point was that humanity as a whole is guilty, hence Gibson using his own hands in the film to nail Christ to the cross. From what i've heard anyway... to be honest I still haven't seen it. It came out whilst I was in South America and neither my Spanish or Aramaic was quite good enough...

If you thought Gallipoli was bad, look what he did to William Wallace. Imagine, the Battle of Stirling Bridge with no river and no bridge!
Anyway, hats off to Sickbag for spoiling Paulie666's fun.

Paulo Freire. Excellent! Far more interesting and a damn sight more relevant than Mad Max, but Paulie probably regards him as a dangerous subversive-goddam liberal-tool of the Devil, etc, etc.

that was one of the worst movies i've ever seen.

i always thought that the whole point of jesus was to hear his words and to live accordingly. unfortunately, at no point in that flick did we hear a single word about his beliefs, feelings, teachings, or philosophies. the message of christ was completely ignored.

we just saw a man getting whipped, burned, jeered at, bludgeoned, stabbed, stoned, and the living piss kicked out of him for two and a half hours and then dying horribly in the last two minutes. yippee.
