3000 RMB is pretty slim pickins for a foreigner here. A lot of ads trumpet how little average Chinese people live on compared to the salary they are offering, but then they don't show you how average Chinese people live, either.
The hours are low; be prepared to supplement them with something else if you want to enjoy life much at all.
You might do better seeking extra hours outside the university environment, and you might consider making sure you have that option settled before signing with the uni. Who knows...they might bump your salary a little to entice you into putting in the extra hours with them?
