I booked my flight to Japan today, and now I am running round like a chicken that just got her head cut off! I hadn't lived in Japan for four years now and when I did I was engage to be married untill I found him cheating on me.
Anyway, I was wondering if any of the ladies living and working in Japan can tell me what the dating scene is like in Japan? Has anyone had or even better is presently involved in a meaningful relationship with a Japanese man? How about Western guys? Are Western guys in Japan only interested in Asian women?

I have a meaningful relationship with my Japanese husband. Most of our fights stem from him being a guy more than him being Japanese. I find that Japanese men in general like to take care of their women. I know some Western women despise this. I, on the other hand, rather like it.

Thank you Lynn! What you wrote is what I thought. My ex did treat me well until I caught him cheating.

Well, well, well - on March 1st `Lover` whoever she or he is, wrote that she/he was already in Japan and experiencing culture shock! Yet now we find that she/he is happy to have booked their flight for Japan `today`, meaning March 15th.

Wow - Lover is amazing! How does she/he manage to be in two places at one time or be in Japan on March 1st, have the money to fly home, and then book another ticket to Japan on March 15th? You really are not smart enough to cover your tracks, are you? So sorry to hear the man to whom you were engaged has shot through Laughing Laughing Maybe he was fed up with all the fantasising and lies you spin!

Memo to all eslcafe posters - don`t take `Lover` seriously. They are a lying troll who contradicts herself/himself. Plus not a smart one, as they fail to check their own lies in their posts to cover themselves!

cafebleu, I just want to tell you doing drugs in Japan is very dangerous. Rolling Eyes Do you know that in Japan if the police find drugs in your urine they can arrest you? Confused

YOu are either stupid and can't read English or taking some serious drugs to make such a stupid assumption.

I did write about living in Japan, but all my threads has been about preparing to go back.

Maybe you should try getting a life you troll.

Sounds like a contradiction to me. So in other words he was treating you nice while he was cheating on you. Wow!

No! That is not what I meant at all. We did have a nice relationship until he meant her. Then he started to change. It is a long story. And a sad part of my life I wish to put behind.

I remembered! A while back I read a thread by nawlinsgurl. I felt sorry for her and wanted to give her some options. I meant to write I know Japan, but must of been one of those nights. Anyhow, I didn't want her to give up without giving Japan a fair chance. Also if her job was so bad, I was hoping to get her to look for a better job.

No, no, no - your silly little lies don`t fool anybody who actually reads posts and their dates. Why continue justifying your floating timelines and assertions of being in Japan this year and then saying you are on your way here etc?

If there is anything worse than a troll it`s a troll who is too dumb to realise they have given themselves away again and again. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
One or two of the moderators have noticed this.

Oh and please don`t send me any more messages - you had better spend your energies on posting some genuine messages instead of those pertaining to the fantasy world you inhabit.

And for a bloke - my, you`re doing well to have had an engagement to another bloke! Even if he DID cheat on you! Laughing Laughing Laughing

You need to focus yourself on doing something creative instead of wasting so much negative energy!
