Hey, anyone know where in the Tokyo area one maybe able to buy larger pants and tops? People here are so tiny, I can't fit into any of their clothes. My arms will fit, but then my boobs won't fit, or my legs will fit, but my butt won't fit! I need approximately American sized 16-20 pants and larger tops. Uni Glo shirts are nice, but I can't fit comfortably in them! HELP! Else I'll have to have my parents ship more stuff out for me! Which is also an issue, because due to the Japanese diet, I'm starting to shrink, but regardless of shrinkage, I still can't fit their clothes! |

There are loads of foreign stores in Tokyo. Try any department store and you're apt to eventually come across an LL Bean or Eddie Bauer. Granted, the clothes on their racks tend to be on the smaller side, I am sure you could also find "American" sizes, as well.
Another place to check out is Odaiba. They have a selection of outlets where most of their goods are imported and your selection may be limited but I'm sure you'll find something you can fit into.
Or do a quick directory search in the "Town Pages" if you don't feel like walking aimlessly through Tokyo's department stores. You're apt to come across familiar stores/brands somewhere in there. |
