| I'm interested in taking Mandarin language lessons while working in Kaohsiung. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good schools to check out. I know of TLI but I've been told its a bit pricey. Any feedback would be appreciated. |

Just yesterday I was driving by the University next to the Cultural Center. There was a large red banner (in English) that mentions classes being available now.
For group classes, I would expect to pay over NT$200 per hour, anyway. Does anyone know much are private (individual) lessons at TLI cost now....about $500 NT?
Sun-yat sen University and Wen-tsao College have also offered Chinese classes for foreign students, as well.....but I don't know anything about them.
