You must have taken that from that website a long time ago; all Chinese schools - indeed, the whole China section - has been taken off from the EF English farce website. EF China has some BIG problems and the whole operation is being restructured and will not be anywhere near the standards of EF in other countries. Did you know that less than 40% of EF 'teachers' have a degree or a TEFL cert.? Seeing as you need one or both of these for a Z visa there appears to have been quite a bit of fraud coming down from the top. |

Hi Bertrand,
I did get the number from that website yesterday and I saw that the the whole China section has NOT been taken off from the EXPENSIVE FRANCHISE website.
Honestly speaking, I did not know that the EF schools in China are like what you described though I have read the unfavourable posts in other threads which suggest avoiding these schools. It will be too bad for these ENTERPRISING FOLKS at the parent company to let their image dented by this fraud practice. But I guess you know the whole situation a lot better as you are living and working in China. |

Can you give the whole URL, then? It is not at www.englishfirst.com. On the right hand side there is no link to Chinese schools anymore.
I don't live or work in China. |

Hi Bertrand,
Sorry could not respond to your request soon. Did not have access to the Net till today.
This is the url: http://www.englishfirst.com/studyatef/China/school.asp
Click 'study at English First' on the left and in the next page you can see the link to all the EF schools all over the world.
Cheers,
Eddie. |
