Does anyone know anything about this college? I was offered a job here by a recruiter and she is pressuring me for a decision. I wasn't able to find much on the web about it...any info/feedback will be appreciated!

What are they offering you, if you don't mind my asking?

(Also, you might have better luck asking at a Shanghai-specific site, like www.Shanghaiexpat.com, where there's an abundance of locals.)

They are offering me 4500 rmb plus 600 food allowance stipend for 14 teaching hours monthly.

(plus in the contract says I might need to do extracurricular activities...I'm supposing things such as English corner, etc.)

The pay sounds decent for the amount of hours, worked. Assuming, that is, that they're also including airfare and accomodation.

4500 total is probably a little low for Shanghai, but given the amount of hours they have you working, you'll probably have enough time to look for part-time work in the city. And there's plenty of good paying, part-time work in Shanghai. I know people who live there and survive on less.

4500rmb is not good.
a school called Kai En offers 6400rmb for 16 hours.
Shanghai is expensive!
