at 3:15 a.m. to be precise, a fire engine with its siren screaming, no cars on the road, passed the place that was on fire, tore up the road past where I slept and woke me up before ripping down the road again to the building that was on fire!!
Now, you go on and add to the story... |

Now that post really irritates me.
The HK Emergency services in HK are superb.
The post sounds somewhat fake too.
It is a known and proven fact in HK for any emergency call it is four red 1 white.
That is a min. of 4 fire engines and 1 ambulance for ANY call out.
I recall about 2 weeks ago at my building, there was apprently a robby report.
Whilst down stairs shopping, I counted 37 police officers and 17 police vans. I didn't even encircle the building to check the far sides.
I had assumed soem ak wielding armed robbers must have been holed up. I was informed it was a report of a single robber.
As I stated at the beginning of this reply. The emergency servics of HK are superb.
Echo's attempt at belittling are rather in line with this attempt at a thread. |

Meanwile back at the island and nearby territories, hundreds of NET teachers were highly pist orf that someone had dared to be unserious in Hong Kong. "Go back to the mainland, illigitimate ESL teacher, you!" they screamed, almost in unison.
"What, not from the mainland?", they queried, shocked, before sneering "Well, you should be!" |

Then, my friend told me that the screaming sirens are used to deliberately wake up people so that those in danger may flee and the able-bodied may volunteer to help.
So we decided to volunteer in the rescue efforts.
Now you go on... |
