jersusalem artichokes look like sunflowers when they are growing. they are higher in vitamins than potatoes. I don't care for them, myself, but at least they are a little different.

Entraillicus, why didn't you put a pineapple as your avatar? Very Happy I paid 5TL for one recently-- well worth it, sinceit had been a few years. Avocados are around too--- mmmm, guacamole!

Fresh fruit best place to buy Euro side Beşiktaş market.
Aisan side Kaidky fresh fruit and fish market.
Next time you have dinner gust try this for an after dinner treat take a small rock mellon half it scoop out the middle fill with ice cream let the ice cream melt a little into the mellon. Then add a bit more and then make an indentation in ice cream and pour bit of vodka or raki on then as you take it to the table you light it up. Blue flamesmellon with icecream and raki.
You have to try it. Razz Wink

Hey-there are three or four Canadians on here and you should use standard English. Lets see if they work out what a ruby is. BTW it is a bit Jamie Oliver don`t you think?

Course they do. Most of the Indians and Pakistanis I have met outside the UK in recent years have told me how they have just got their visa to Canada or they are waiting for their visa. I bet there are lots of Turkish restaurants too.

Notice Molly uses British English spelling yet uses Americanisms. She says ''Master`s'' instead of MA but writes ''favour'' rather than ''favor.''

Yeah, I'm pretty fancy. I'm also Canadian and we know how to spell. Lived in the US for many years and I can spell Merkan too, probably better than George Bush can.

That is the worst insult you could place on me I hate that cnt. So yeah by Ruby I meant cheese cake. The indian restuarants I've found in the 'bul, just smply aren't up to standard, so I'm sitting at home with my Madhur Jafrey books.
