I haven't worn a suit or blazer in ages, so I'm afraid I'm of no help regarding your fashion statement. In the climate where I live, the only men who wear suits are those who wear them as required uniforms and work in air-conditioning all day. Here a long-sleeved guayabera and dark trousers work for any formal occasion short of a tuxedo. Anyone who would wear a suit when normal temperatures are in the 35 to 40 range much of the year, as they are here, would have to be nuts.

Had that problem in Acapulco. I wore sandals and light pants/short sleeve shirts all the time, if not just a pair of speedos. Too many beers and advancing age make the speedos unwearable these days. The real reason I moved back to DF. Laughing

...to don my satin black kimono! Geez Matt, how did you come up with that?

I realise this is a little late, but I was busy celebrating the liberation of Cuba last night...

I like the yellow/purple combo. Not so sure about the kimono thing. Reminds me of a *very unsettling* time in the 70s when most adults I knew would spend their time in kaftans. Shocked

Still in therapy for that one! Laughing

It's disturbing to try and relax at the beach when some blubbery oaf sits down next to you wearing nothing but a marble bag. Ugh! Time to go find a new spot on the beach...

No worries Matt...I've destroyed any photo evidence of the 'Speedo Incident'.

Ahem, ermmmm.... I've actually always been rather partial to men who wear speedos, but I guess I've always been quite specific about the kind of physique men should have if they wear them.

Thongs on the other hand should be banned. Shocked

You should have worn lederhosen--or a dirndyl?

I won't mention the politically incorrect options....
