As someone previously mentioned, USQ is a good school.
www.usq.edu.au

I started there about 3 months ago and there are a couple more regular posters here that also study there. I recommend them, but it is a lot of work.

The USQ M.A. TESOL program is not that good.

The staff are underqualified and many of the markers do not provide enough quick and useful feedback - in fact, lecturers don't even mark distant students' assignements.

I cannot recommend USQ as a place to go and do an M.A. TESOL.

Try Macquarie in Sydney or Monash in Melbourne.

Even Queensland University and Queensland University of Technology have good programs.

One of the USQ TESOL lecturers referred to it as: "Yee Haw!! University"

LOL!!!

Has anybody been successful in landing a job in the US or UK on the merits of an online MA TESOL or applied linguistics? Are the degrees in the US from Shenandoah, Indiana U, or Anaheim actually recognized in America? It seems that because there are so few schools that offer online degrees, most employers would know of them and that they are offered wholly online, even though the actual degree does not state so.
