I know this site is supposed to be about teaching and related things, so I apologize that my question is more travel related.
I am a teacher after all, I just want some information about Spain as I would like to spend my vacation there, perhaps study flamenco guitar.

If I were to arrive in Spain about mid or late May and wanted to spend about a month in Granada, aproximately how much money would I need?

I don't want to go dirt poor, but nothing too extravagent either.

How much would a room cost for a month? (low end economy)

Thanks in advance.

Sorry again for asking on this forum, but I wasn't sure where else to ask.

Cheers

For accomodation you need to count on 300 euros for a room / cheap hostel (the room would be cheaper if you were looking around there long term, but short term rents are always a bit more). You can live in Spain for 1000 euros a month all-in as a new arrival not doing all that much socializing, but if youre not going to live in Granada and youll be going out a fair bit, you might well want to budget on 1500 a month as the temptation to go out, especially there, will be high.
