Hey all, this is my first post on the board..

I'm graduating college in December 05' from Wisconsin-Stevens Point w/ a degree in Spanish and minors in Web design/religous studies. I studied abroad in Spain for 4 months so my spanish fluency is above average/advanced

I want to go abroad again but am debating madrid or buenos aires. Im swaying towards buenos aires as I have read the cost of living is cheaper and also seems to have more job opportunities yet has a european flair. Any suggestions or advice to help me lean one way or the other...?

thanks a lot everybody

ps. sorry i forgot to say I want to teach english. is a TEFL course needed?

you've already been to Spain. If you don't absolutely have to go back, why not check out another place. I'm heading for BsAs myself over Europe.

That is very true.

A little about myself. Im 22 years old and have no formal "teaching" experince per say in a class room but have been a varsity basketball assistant coach at the HighSchool level for two years. I have a passion for teaching these youngsters ( 15-18 ). It's amazing seeing the progress they make after just a few practice sessions. I would have become a teacher had I figured out I wanted to do this earlier. But the school of ED is competitive and frankly I'm too far along to try and complete their requirements.

I think EFl is a perfect opportunity for me to explore the teaching world inside a classroom, as well I would learn so much about life in general.

Having a BA and coaching experience, do you all think this would help me land a job in Buenos?
I would start to plan my move roughly december of 06', thanks for all the help guys
