Can any of you Turkish etymologists out there explain where 'Fenerium ' came from?
Is there a Galatasaray and Besiktas equivalent? |

| No idea- from Fenerbah�e stadium, perhaps?- but have you noticed the signs for the centre of town say centrum ? |

And the only other place I've seen Centrum is, I think, Dutch? |

The place I first worked in Turkey had a sign on the outskirts of town which said 'centrum' This was about 14 years ago in a village of 2000 people. I'm planning on revisiting in a few weeks, Ill check to see if it is still there. |

Fenerbah�e is the most hated club you know why?
1. they find some silly words and expressions for themselves such as Fenerium,Fenerbahce Republic, Fenerist,Unifener
2. they always find an excuse when they lose .
3. One day they have 20 million supporters the other day they have 30 ( their chairman says it)
there is an organization called antifenerbahce
and a final tip from whynotme: if somebody says he is a fener fan , never ever talk about football with them.... |

Kayseri Spor, wooohoo!
BTW, as of the last kurban bayramı, the sign on the road leading into said city still sports the word Centrum. This road does indeed lead to the centrum of the cityum rather than to a large bottle of multi vitamins or to Rome. |

Ardabey, judging from ur message I can easily say that u r a typical Fenerbah�e fan because you think whoever says anything about FB is Galatasaray supporter.

Wrong again ardabey,
since they were born....and fenerbah�e did not steal championchip only last year and not only from Besiktas....but it is no good discussing it here especially to a fenerbahce supporter |
