Talagante is a little town on the outskirts of Santiago. You can take a micro from Estacin Central. It costs 550 pesos each way, and there is a bus that leaves every 15-30 minutes. From Estacin Central it takes 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. You go on Panamerican Sur I believe for a little while. It's a bit far and if you have to travel everyday it can be expensive, but the town is calmer and away from the smog.

Thanks Breeze -
I would not be commuting from Santiago. I am trying to find a place to live that is not Santiago. What is the flavor of the town? What would it be like to live there?
Thanks. |

Hey,
I sent you a pm message. Also, another city that is pretty much connected to Talagante is Malloco. Maybe you can find something with that name. |
