Does anyone know of any universities or schools hiring for summer teachers? I have looked through the postings on Dave's, Tefl.com, TESOL, Tefl.net and eslemployment.com. All of these or most of them are for the upcoming academic school year. If anyone knows of any schools or universities for the summer only please let me know.

| The UAE pretty much shuts downs over the summer. This isn't the place for temporary work, sorry. |

ka-Ching is right about the Gulf. There may be some summer school stuff in North Africa or the Levant, but I very much doubt that they would advertise. If their current staff doesn't need the money (as they almost always do), they pick up someone locally. I'd say that it was one of those things that if you are there, you ask - and if you are very lucky, they may need someone.

Thank you for all of your help and advice I really appreciate it. I was hoping for something in Saudi or Oman, because I have seen a few posts, but it looks like they are rare and have probably already been filled.
