It's free!!! what do you want??? susbcripted film
channels showing the latest movies??? sorry my
friend but my searches for these 'great' tv channels
come up with nothing!

Besides America and Canal 9 are two of your main
TV stations are they not?

OK... I agree they are not the height of cultural magnitude
if you are not in Argentina and you want to brush up with whats
going on and you want to brush up on your Argentine Spanish
then they are fun to watch... in my opinion anyway

Carlos,
As you wanted to know our thoughts, that's what i answered... I think they are crap... Now, if all that you want to do is to brush up your Argentine spanish, of course that those channels are OK.
Those 3 channels listed there are not representative of the BA Television and what porteos watch at all... There are 5 "air" channels (free) in BA:
11 (Telefe) with 42% of the share.
13 (Artear) with 26%
9 (LS83 Canal 9) with 18%
2 (America) with 9%
7 (Canal 7 Argentina) with 5%

Suerte!

Guille

Guille...

Canal 9 is in the top 3 then... one of your main
stataions... like I said... thank you for confirming it...

If you think they are crap or they aren't, is
not the point, Someone who wants
to know about Argentina but are not there, would find them
useful... especially to brush up on their Argentine Spanish
thank you for confirming this as well...

And if you can find a better free to air accessible channel
on the net then I would like you to find it and post the
link on here... cheers

(PS: I bet you cannot:)

Che, Carlitos!
This is not a competition...
I didn't say that you or what you have found is crap... just said that those specific channels are crap... that's all... I do appreciate your post... but I don't know why you are so "kinky"...
Suerte y buena vida!

Carlos,
Thanks for the link man. The shows may be crap (I have no idea) but since I am sitting at a computer in my office for the next two weeks before I head out for Argentina, they are a godsend. Now instead of being bored out of my mind at my job, I can be bored and get a little more comfortable with my Argentine spanish...

Muchas gracias.
