| NOVA claims that you have some say in where you're placed, assuming there is some job demand there. Has anyone actually requested a city and been placed there? I'd really like to go to Sapporo |

| I think NOVA does try to place you in your city of preference, but since there are a lot of applicants wanting to be in similar cities, your city of preference may or may not be accomodated. From the orientation today, I know she said that a lot of intructors want to go to the Kyoto region. They have a waiting list for that. I think she also mentioned something about Sapporo, but I'm not sure as I was falling asleep during the orientation. I do know that Sapporo is beautiful. I've even heard those from JET say that Sapporo is the best place to teach in Japan. |
