my rentor told me its a great location, but i'd rather hear that from someone else's honest opinon. anyone know the area? |

it's a great location. palermo is a fun neighborhood, safe, lots of people, lots to do, one of the prettier ones in terms of parks and whatnot. it's a little further from downtown, but it's easy to get there on the subte or a colectivo.
santa fe is a good street to be near but not on (unless you REALLY like the city life). it guarantees you'll be close to shops, cafes, locutorios, etc. plus buses going everywhere. congratulations on such a great find! |

Yep, you're about 2-3 blocks from Alto Palermo shopping mall (not my favourite-it's a bit of a kiddy after school hang out but the shops are good) and there's a big Norte supermarket about 6 blocks away. Nearest subte is Bulnes (in the shopping mall) and it takes about 10 minutes to get to Diagonal Norte slap bang in the centre. 3 subte stops to Plaza Italia and the botanical gardens, zoo and bosques de palermo. Short taxi ride (like 5 pesos) to Palermo Viejo and all its bars and restaurants. So, all in all, a very good location...must be pricey or very small though...but still, probably worth it...

Hey, how did you find your place? We just moved to Las Canitas thru ArgentinaGo (2 bed for U$D 450 for 3 months) but would like to find something cheaper and longer in this neighborhood or Palermo. I have heard you need an Argentine guarantee to secure this. True? |
