Been in HK for 4 months and am absolutely loving it. Unfortunately, as I don't have a degree I can only stay in HK for 1 year on a working holiday visa. I am really interested in teaching again next year and was wondering if there are any other countries who will sponser me on a working holiday visa?
Any info would be really appreciated.

How does one get a working holiday visa? Is it dependent on which country you are from? I would love to know how to get such a thing! |

i think you can only apply for a working holiday visa if you're a resident of Australia or New zealand but just check Hong Kong's immigration website just in case |

You can only get a working holiday visa for one year(except Aussies) and thats it. A working holiday doesnt require a sponsor or a degree as its a travel and working visa, not a teaching visa. You need a degree if you want to get a sponsored full time working visa in most Asian countries.
Once your year is up on working holiday you cant get another one, though Australians can get up to 18 months on WHV, but Im not sure you can use the same visa in more than one country though. |

If you get a TESOL, I believe you can still work in Thailand and Cambodia with no degree as well as China, but other posters can correct or modify this information as they see fit. |

China's a good bet. Check out an agency called Start, they are advertising currently all over China, on this forum, and many jobs don't ask for a degree. Good luck. |
