Where are the testes located on a director?
I've got the 220V line all primed and ready.

I posted somewhere else questioning alternative venues for qualifying under the minimum education requirements. This thread is not silly at all. What's silly is that governments are regulating things they know nothing about. It's an understandable thing, but it causes a lot of confusion.
When an ad states it requires a four-year degree, it is making an assumption. That assumption is incorrect. A three-year universitybachelor's degree fully qualifies. No one is counting the number of years you actually attend school.
There are other considerations, and I have upset quite a few people on this site with suggestions that you or I could get a legal work permit on a fake degree, as long as it comes with transcripts, or a diploma mill degree, again, as long as they provide transcripts for you (and as long as said diploma mill stays off the radar of whatever government you are working under).
An AA degree probably wouldn't fly, but it might. If it says "degree" on it, you might be able to get it considered valid if the employer wants you badly enough, say, because you have experience. I don't know whether I'd risk that, but I might (I mean, hire a teacher I wanted who only had an AA degree).
I'm under preassure here as a DoS. My teachers and I all must have a baccalaureate degree. I do not have one. but I DO have a TESOL Diploma, and I managed to qualify with that, after showing a government translator some stats from a British governing board showing the level of qualification this diploma represents.
Plenty of pissed off people wrote back to let me know that I "pulled the wool over someone's eyes," but I did no such thing. I don't really care much if these people fire me. I just showed them what I had, pointed them in the direction of info regarding my qualification, asked if this was good enough and they said it was fine, with even a bit of rolling eyes. As in, "Yes, of COURSE it is, don't be ridiculous."
Would it be, in Japan or Korea? I have my transcripts. Maybe it would, maybe it wouldn't. But you are not going to find out on Dave's ESL Cafe. The situation is just too subjective. Or "murky," if you will (that choice of words upset the guitar player for the Sex Pistols, evidently).
if you don't have a traditional bachelor's from a traditional university, then you just gotta play your cards and see what happens.
I haven't had a problem yet.

Next to his brain. Let's just go the whole hog and plug 'em into the national grid.

She is Japanese actress, Yko Miyamura, though she is sometimes crdited as Ynosuke Yamimura. Seen here as Oneesan, the "video training girl" in the 2000 movie Battle Royale. She is best known for being the "voice" of various anime characters.

Yes, I think it's generally known that employers in Korea are generally clueless. Sometimes they list "canadian accent" as a required qualification.
