Precisely. That's why I said "shipping documents" in my post.
Those jobs are rip-offs, and the owners usually disappear from night to morning to Indonesia or China--owing a few months wages plus liquidation to their workers. |

Believe it or not, I spent one year (August to June) teaching in Mexico and I managed to bring home $10,000 Canadian dollars (almost $8000US) which I think is pretty darn good. More than I expected to save anyway. I worked at a Private Catholic school in Torreon Coahuila (not the greatest city but okay) and housing was provided for me by the school. I think this is key. If you have no bills to pay then you can definitely save money. Especially if you do a little private tutoring on the side. Oh, I also travelled on every long weekend and spend 2 weeks at an all-inclusive resort during Semana Santa. Not too shabby huh? |

You did great! You must have been making a really, really good wage by local standards and spent next to nothing in your day to day living. I have heard they do pay more to keep teachers in places like Torreon |
