Hi,
Not ESL but the best forum I know of that remotely deals with this kind of stuff.
I want to volunteer in Mexico (or anywhere else in Latin America) for 9 months and break even. 2 years with the Peace Corps seems a bit long.
Any links or leads?
Thanks. |

Nate, there's a small school in La Manzanilla, Colima,(a small beach town on the Pacific, really beautiful.) The school is called La Catalina and they use volunteer teachers.... |

This place?
It doesn't have to be teaching, like I mentioned before this is the only forum I know of that remotely deals with this kind of thing.
Thanks! |

Yeah, that's the site. (I'm a bit daft when it comes to cutting and pasting....)You've probably tried this already but......just in case....have you googled "volunteer mexico"...I've seen man sites for various projects, eg. building homes, save turtles, etc., requiring volunteers. Good Luck! |

one of my friends is helping a school in chiapas recruit teachers. he volunteered there for ten months. they provide you with meals and accomodation. you can go to his website at http://www.nathanryan.com to read about the school and you can also email him if you want.
you also don't need any certification to teach there. |
