Cold Case is pretty good. Desperate Housewives was okay for a while but Terri Hatcher's constant pratfalls drove me away -- can't the creepy widower kill her off? CSI:NY infuriates me. I wanted to like it because I really like Gary Sinise, but not even he can salvage the laughable dialogue the writers churn out. And what's with having 'CSI:NY' printed on their lab coats and flashing on their computer screens? Will they forget where they work if they don't have a constant reminder? At least I can thank CNBC for getting me to turn off the TV and read some of those books piled up on my shelf. |

Maryam2003,
I hope you are kidding, either about that question to Molly - or on
your personal profile where it says that you are an "evangelical
missionary."
Are you looking to proseletyze to those poor single muslim Turkish
men? They are gonna love you, I promise.
I guess my point is, when you ask a question like this,
you are gonna get either generalizations or flames.
I am sure you will meet our own flamer before
too much longer. |

That explains so much Molly, after all you need the quiet calm manner of a nun to be a D.O.S at any school. I don't need to say god help you. I guss as a Nun you've got a direct line to him/her. |

As I was watching Desperate Housewives last night, I remembered about commercials on American TV, and why Turkish commercials don't bother me all that much. In a 1 hour program like that, every time it fades to black for a second or 2, it means a commercial break in America-- that's like, 5 times per show, or about every 7 minutes, and the breaks in the US are longer than here-- 5-7 minutes during Prime Time. That's probably why the Turks have put so many commercials, plus they start the show after the hour and it ends before the next hour-- a 1 hour program in the US is closer to 40 minutes, and a half hour sit-com is really more like 17 minutes... |

Molly - can I ask you this question? You appear to be a woman of infinite experience.....
What are Turkish men like?
Tell all.... |
What an odd question! Why would you ask this?
If you want to know what Turkish men are like, why not ask whynotme? |

Sorry! I think I was misunderstood-- I wasn't trying to pimp out whynotme-- I just thought being a Turkish man made him the best qualified to answer that question....
And it's an adorable photo of your son. The combined cuteness of the boy and the kitten might be a bit much, but I forgive you. He's a lovely boy. |

hee hee hee!!! We may generalize from that avatar that Turkish men have a clever yet biting sense of humor. Aferin!
That picture's cute too, you should mention it to your son when he's about 14. Do you have one like that with a kitten in it? |

I don`t think there is any need for this kind of personal attack. I know that Ghost isn`t everyone`s cup of tea but he is entitled to his opinion and is a valued member of this forum. |

I have seen all of series 1-4 except the last episode of series 4 coz the knock off DVD I got didn`t manage the last episode. I saw 1 episode of series 5 on America Plus when I was staying in a hotel recently. In that Adrianna who is now in Joey, confessed to Chris that she was informing to the FBI and Pauli kills her. Any idea when series 5 will be released on DVD? |
