At our company we've received two spearate warnings about different cases of Akva Minerale bottles filled with phosphoric acid, apparently from reliable sources. Supposedly linked to protests by Pepsi employees.
It may be a total hoax - we haven't seen any news reports yet, but it won't hurt to avoid Pepsi products for a while. Obviously just what the hoaxers/spikers want but hey, it's better than ending up in excrutiating pain.
In each case the bottles were said to have shown no signs of tampering. The products in question were bottles of still water, presumably the small ones. Might be worth giving all related stuff a wide berth until it's confirmed or otherwise, as there's no saying whether it's confined to Saint Petersburg.
Take care folks. |

Holy jumpin' catfish Batman!
And I thought the warm, flat beer was dangerous.
Let this be a lesson to all.
Beer is good for you; even if it's flat and warm.
за ваше здоровье!
Who needs mineral water anyway? |

Like we really needed a reason to give Pepsi products a wide berth.
I only buy the pepsi water when there's no alternative. There's usually some locally produced stuff with a unique taste available for cheaper.
Though coincidentally enough, a bottle of water I had the other day seemed to have a whiff of a flavor reminiscent of bitter almond. Probably just an aftertaste of the food I was eating. Still, it reminded me of the cyanide/Tylenol thing so I ended up not drinking the whole bottle.
Good luck everyone. |

I thought that mineral water had a weird taste so I never bought it again.
So now I now why.
I Russia I used to boil the water then put it in the fridge to cool it. |
