| seems like all the internet info says that i have to send my drivers license AND passport back to america, to AAA or someplace, to get an international dl. anybody know a way around this? can i get it done locally, i live in hokkaido. thanx for any tips. scott |

Scott, if you've lived in Japan for more than one year you will need to get a Japanese drivers license. The international one will not do. Just a heads up.  |
