Although I've been a member of Dave's since early last year, I just figured out how to access my PMs. When I did, I found a bunch of really pleasant, helpful messages from a number of people, some dating back to spring of 2004, which I never responded to. So I want to thank anyone who sent a PM to me (MO39) and never heard a word; I'm not an ingrate, just a semi-novice at using the internet. I don't want to get a bad reputation here at Dave's, which has been a great source of help and encouragement to me over the last year and a half. |

Every time I get a PM, I get an email to tell me so. Also, when I log in, a little box pops up and tells me, and next to the Log in/Log out thingy there is a thing that says "You have no new messages" or "You have x number of new messages".
I think you can tinker with these settings in your profile.
I was going to send you this as a PM, but thought others might like to know about it too.
Have a good day,
Lozwich. |

'Splendid' - Now that's a word I always tell myself I must use more often, then never do. |

Thanks to Lozwich's suggestion, I have tinkered with my settings and now shall let no pm pass unperceived or unanswered. |
