Hey, i'm new to this board and i've been talking to a school in shanghai for a bit now. they have given me a contract to look at and i was wondering if any you have taught at or know anything about Shanghai Hongkou Dalue BSK Academy. the money seems decent and the benefits appear ok too. i've talked to the guy from there on the phone and of course he seemed nice. i'm sure i might have some more questions since this is one of my first times looking in to the opportunity to teach overseas. thanks.

Before you do anything, read the forum "Warning!!! Shanghai ESL Company". Read the whole thing. I was looking at this company too, but recently, my feelings have changed very much. Just be careful when you're dealing with this company, they don't seem very nice.

I'm not the smartest person on the internet. I didn't realize this was a year old. Never mind, I'm sure you've chosen one way or another.

If you did go with them, how did it go? I've already signed with another city, but I'm curious because I have heard many things about them here.

hey tina, i actually had signed with them. it went pretty bad. i don't recommend anyone work for them no matter how well the contract or deal sounds. they are swift talking business people and that's all. they have no program and lie about it all. i'm sure there are many cheats out there, they were one for sure. go with something more well established and reputable, your experience will be much better than mine or many others that i had taught with at that company. if you want to know, just msg me.
