hi...
i am interested in teaching english in hong kong...and i came across an organization called chatteris, which looked intriguing to me because i come from a business background and therefore have no teaching experience...does anyone have any insight into this company? is it reputable and legitimate? will this help me get a foot in the door for future english teaching jobs in hong kong? i would be applying for a graduate english language teaching asst. position (GELTA)...and it looks like they're looking to fill positions for september 2005....
thanks!

Chatarris are a non-profit as far as I know.
They have a web site. The program would give you some experience, however without some form of teacher training, you wil find it difficult to get furtehr work.
As for working in HK, you will need a working visa, aka sponsership, aka relivant teaching qualifications. |
