Looks like I am off to HCMC in a few months weeks and looking for other women to make friends with and have the occassional girls night out. I have been working in China for 14 months and one of the people I was working with are opening a kindergarten in HCMC nand has offered me work there. They pay well and look after me so I will take it but I dont want to go nuts with just me and a bunch of children.

If there are any women out there who want to drop me a line or at least tell me what bars are good to go to. It took me a while to get going in China and I dont want to do it so hard and lonely this time, I will miss my few good friends here verey much buit thats life. Gotta see iut all before I go

There a plenty of cool women teachers here in all levels of schooling, Myra. I'm just not sure if many of them come on this board. Don't worry, you'll find them!

One popular with Aussies bar which also gets a few teachers in, is Blue Gecko at 31 Ly Tu Trong. Otherwise amy of the bars in the guidebooks seem to get a regular crowd.

The drink at this bar are shady.
