I dont know about their "monster rating", but i was recruited with them and they lied to my face about a whole number of things. basically they promised me everything that i wanted, and they said that they had the perfect job for me. however the situation was very different when i finally got here.
i say finally because morning calm recruiting messed up my visa and sent me the wrong document, so i made the 3 hour trip to san francisco to the korean embassy there, and they looked at me with blank faces and told me it wasnt stamped properly and i couldnt get my visa! anyway, that was one farce, but i was promised to be picked up and i wasnt, i was promised over 2 million won salary but i was given 1.7 on my contract (which was radically different to the one that i was emailed), my apartment was awful etc etc.
i wouldnt mind so much but when i tried to get in contact with natalia kim (the only one who speaks english at morning calm) i was given the brush off and told that i had to accept my situation, despite her saying before i came to korea to me specifically that she would help me and would always be on the end of a phone in case i needed a translator (my boss cannot speak a word of english). i also know a few other people in different cities who got treated the same by morning calm. it just feels so bad to be lonely in a foreign country and nobody to care about you, even someone you thought you could trust. i think now though, that morning calm recruiting has been blacklisted by some websites so i hope that nobody makes the mistake that i did.
basically they told me what i wanted to hear to get me to korea and for them to get their recruiters fee, then they didnt need me anymore so when the truth of the situation became apparent, it didnt matter to them.
peace. |

There is no such animal as an honest Korean recruiter. |
