Ronin,
The defence was the grass was put in her bag in Brisbane and was somehow missed by corrupt baggage handlers in the Sydney transfer from domestic to international. Quite feasable in the fact several Sydney Qantas baggage handlers have since & during the trial were sacked & the Federal Government is now spending millions to upgrade airport security.
My personal thoughts are while not the brightest bulb on the christmas tree Schapell Corby was sacraficed by the Oz government ( or in the very least not helped as much as she could have been ) so the weakness of our airport security would not be revealed. We had been told airport security had been upgraded to very secure standards however in reality nothing like this was done. The Oz govt tells lies. |

Look, guilty or not guilty - 20 years for a few pounds of ganja is ridic. Indonesia sees Cannabis and Heroin as in the same food group, ie. instant death, evil satan blah blah. Heroin is evil sheeit, but frankly, cannabis is not. To take away somebody's life (which is more or less what a 20 year sentence is doing) is a crazy over reaction. You can buy a pack of ciggies for under 10 thou rupes in Indonesia, or a bottle of beer for not much more. I wonder which are the real killers? The real dangers to society? Dur. |

A reporter wandering around Kuta the night before last Friday's verdict was offered every kind of drug that he's ever heard of.
I fear this reporter was lying through his teeth. He was probably offered two or three types of drug at the most. Not that that means anything, as the young lads in Kuta are famous for selling any old sh1te and claiming it's drugs. Usually some kind of herb with no psycoactive properties whatsoever.
Do you think we don't know the different between drugs and herbs?
Or you always write without use your brain (as I know many teachers without any degree never use their brain) |

Um no, Jreng, I think you've misinterpreted what he wrote. Kids offer herbs to tourists, pretending they're drugs....
What have you got against teachers? If you don't like a lot of teachers, why are you on this board?! |
