A curious thing to say ... both dollars and euros are in fact convertible and highly liquid instruments
I agree, these courses are expensive. |

That's true too
I forgot to mention that Im also looking at the option of taking the course in Brazil. So CELTA is the way to go, but then again, maybe to get me a foot in the door in Brazil, I don't really need the CELTA certificate?
Another thing I've been wondering about. A lot of times I see websites talking about a CELTA exam. Does that mean that you can follow like a "normal:" TEFL course and than do an external CELTA exam, so you're CELTA certified anyway? |

I've never heard of a 'celta exam'...i doubt whether that exists to be honest. the celta course doesn't include an exam of any kind, just coursework so i reckon it's extremely unlikely that some kind of official celta exam exists. However, i may be wrong as i haven't done any research into telf courses since i took my celta back in 2002. |

How about an equivalent of the TEFL course that Bridge Linguatec provides? |

I've heard that it's pretty much the same as the celta and costs pretty much the same as well...but it doesn't have the cach or international recognition. To my mind it seems a bit strange to do a course like that. |
