Anybody out there know of any websites / recruiters for jobs teaching nursing? Any useful suggestions would be welcome. |

Check www.chinatefl or www.teflchina. look for universities or schools wanting medical english teachers. There are lots of them. I teach at a nursing school but would not care to recommend it at present. Find out the students level of English first, as it is hard to talk medicine when they can only say 'I don't understand you' when you say 'What's your name?' |

There are a number of websites but for the life of me I have forgotten them. Most are in Chinese but sorry I can't help here.
There are some private companies that recruit nurses from here to send them overseas to Australia, US, middle east etc but when it comes to it the costs are very high. English training is required for a year, visa development and then there is the registration as a nurse in those countries. It ends out that nurses have to pay nearly $15-20,000 to do the whole thing. alot of money but they can then earn about 30,000 a year.
Sorry I can't be of more help but this is just a quick research i did about 9 months ago for a recruitment company in Australia. They decided it wasn't worth the effort. |
