Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would know of the names of bookstores and second-hand bookstores in HK that sell Lonely Planets?

I'm going to HK in 36hrs, and would really like some leads before hand.

Swindon's is in Lock Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. Page One is in Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong - a few minutes to the north of TST by MTR. I live out in the New Territories, so these are the bookshops I tend to use.
Both have a good collection of travel books, including LP.

Flow is a great bookshop, easy to find just off the escalator in Central. On the first floor above a place called Cafe Siam.

Also near Flow, straight down the escalator to the bottom, is another second hand book store. If you go to the bottom of the escalator on Queen's Road then you're right opposite Central Market. The road down the side of the market is something like Victoria Street or Queen Victoria Street. Go down there to number 11 and the 2nd floor is a regular second hand book shop while on the 4th floor they have a discount 'everything $10' book section. It's called Collectables.

Flow has some travel books and some Lonely Planets. Both are good shops to spend hours browsing.

FLOW is a second-hand bookstore - great! Also has CDs and tapes!

SWINDON'S has TWO stores in TST; apart from the shop mentioned above, there is one in Pacific Place (not sure about the name), the shopping mall between the HK Ferry Pier and the Star Ferry Pier; it's on the 3rd floor and has a special bargain corner where you find a pile of discounted books. I bought a couple of Hammond Innes novels for HK$ 10 each!
A PAGE ONE also is in the same shopping mall next to the CITYSUPER supermarket!

Hey guys..

I need help with pre-ordering harry potter 6 at swindons. how do I go about it?? I will be in Hong Kong on July 23.. the released date will be on July 15. I really want to purchase this book but I will be travelling around China during the released date.

If someone can assist me with this one, I would greatly appreciate it. I can deposit the money in your bank account if you need to pay for it to pre-order. If not, can you just put the order for 1 book adult version with pick-up date on July 24.
